Tyler's Transformation

I'm VERY behind on my blogging but hope to catch up quickly. These pictures were taken a few days before Christmas 2008. It was Tyler's first "hair" since losing his own to Alopecia in the first few months of 2008. Doesn't he look like Aunt Wendy when his hair is long??

Sisterly Love

Look at what my sister did to me while I took a much-needed nap at the beach. I had been playing hard all week and finally crashed. After they couldn't wake me up, Sarah decided to give me a make-over. I guess it's just what big sister do to their little brothers -- I hear it's a family tradition!

Tyler's Sleep Away Camp

Camp Blue Ridge, VA - I love sleep away camp with my friends. We went in the lake and I won the golden arrow in archery. The skits were funny. I probably had the fastest horse there. Her name was Stormy.

I'm a Big Kid Now!

After 4 1/2 years, it is time to move on. Johnny will be joining Tyler at Camp Sonshine this summer and Beltsville Adventist in the fall. It will be nice having both kids at the same place again.

Water Babies was a great experience for both boys and we've made good friends through the center, most especially Taylor Hilderbrandt. Miss Jenny and Miss Belinda were wonderful support for our family and, more recently, Miss Beverly and Miss Stacey have prepared Johnny well for kindergarten.

It is bittersweet as we close this chapter of our family's history.
